About University of Ranchi :-

Ranchi University is a university in Jharkhand state of India. It was established on 12 July 1960 as a teaching-cum-affiliating university, and its first vice chancellor was Vishnudeo Narayan Singh. It is headquartered in Ranchi, the capital city of Jharkhand.The university has a total student intake of around 90,000 students from its affiliated colleges. It has a central library with approximately 150,000 books for the academic needs of the students. There are a total of two male hostels and four female hostels in the university campus situated at Kutchery Road, Morabadi in Ranchi.

University Annual Theory Examination will be held on March to July for various UG degree/ PG degree courses. UG Ist years exams in 1st week of July and UG IInd year exams in 2nd week of May and UG III year exams in 1st week of April. PG 2nd & 4th Semester exams in 3rd week of June and PG 1st & 3rd semester exams in 1st week of March.
