About Exam:
Those candidates who applied in Assam TET Exam faced a written exam. The Paper I was for a person who intends to be a teacher for Lower Primary level (classes I to V). The Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for the Upper Primary level (classes VI to VIII). All (150) questions was of MCQ type, each question was carrying 1 mark for both the exam and there was no negative marking in the exam. All the candidates have given the exam successfully. About Merit List:
A candidate is required to score 60 % i.e. 90 marks out of 150 to qualify the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET). However, for SC/ST (Hills)/ST (Plain)/OBC/MOBC/PWD (PH), there will be a relaxation of 5 %. Thus, for these candidates, qualifying marks will be 83 marks out of 150 i.e. 55 %. So the merit list will be prepared on the qualifying marks obtained in the written exam by the candidates. If the merit list will be prepared so it will be published soon at the official website.
