Jawaharlal Nehru University Delhi 2021 Admission Process

Jawaharlal Nehru University Delhi conducted Viva-voce examination which is the gateway to take admission in the various programs, Viva- voce examination is mandatory for every single student. Aspirants must secure the following marks out of 70 in the written examination. Let have to look Viva-voce examination marks prescriptions.

The final selection of Aspirants for admission is made on the basis of inter-se merit of candidates in their respective categories, based on their performance.

  2.  in the viva voce (wherever prescribed), and

Program Eligibility Criteria
 B.A. (HONS.) (Entry point – 1st year) Candidate must have Senior School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks
 B.A. (HONS.) (Entry point – 2nd year) Candidate must have the First year of Bachelor’s degree or an examination recognised as equivalent thereto with at least 45% marks (50% in the case of German) under the 10+2+3 pattern of education

Program Eligibility Criteria
M.A. For every course in the School of International Studies (SIS) Candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline under the 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 50% marks
For every course in the School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies (SLLCS) Candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline under the 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 45% marks (50% in the case of English, German, Linguistics) with adequate proficiency in the concerned language
For every course in the School of Social Sciences (SSS) Candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline under the 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 50% marks (45% in the case of Geography and Sociology)
For every course in the School of Arts & Aesthetics (SAA) Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline under the 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 50% marks
For every course in the Special Centre for Sanskrit Studies (CSS) Candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline under the 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 45% marks
