Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has Recently Announced and Invited the Online Applications from the Eligible Candidates for the Posts of Motor Vehicle Inspector. Exam Pattern for the Written Exam is as Follows:-

• There Will be a Three Paper in Written Exam.

• There will be No Negative Marking.

Minimum Qualifying Marks –

• UN-Reserved – 40%
• OBC – 36.5%
• MOBC – 34%
• SC / ST / Female & PwD – 32%

Exam Syllabus :

Exam Syllabus for Examination is given below :-

General Study (सामान्य अध्ययन):-

Matric level questions will be asked in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Geography, History, Economics and Political Science. Apart from this, questions related to the Constitution of India, Five Year Plan, Freedom Movement and current affairs like scientific progress, national / international award / language / book / script / capital / currency / sports – sportsman / important event etc. / अंक गणित, भौतिक शास्त्र, रसायन शास्त्र, वनस्पति शास्त्र, भूगोल, इतिहास, अर्थ शास्त्र एवं राजनितिक विज्ञान के मेट्रिक स्तर के प्रश्न पूछे जायेंगे। इसके अतिरिक्त भारतीय संविधान, पांच वर्षीय योजना, स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन एवं सामयिक विषय यथा वैज्ञानिक प्रग्रति, राष्ट्रीय / अंतराष्ट्रीय पुरूस्कार / भाषा / पुस्तक / लिपि / राजधानी / मुद्रा / खेल – खिलाडी / महत्वपूर्ण घटना आदि से सम्बंधित प्रश्न।

Automobile & Mechanical Engineering (ऑटोमोबाइल और यांत्रिक अभियंत्रण):- The syllabus of this paper will be the same as prescribed by Bihar State Technical Education Council for Diploma in Automobile Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering respectively. / इस प्रश्न पत्र का पाठ्यक्रम वही होगा जो बिहार राज्य तकमीकी शिक्षा परिषद् द्वारा क्रमश: ऑटोमोबाइल अभियंत्रण डिप्लोमा अथवा यांत्रिक अभियंत्रण डिप्लोमा हेतु निर्धारित है।

Motor Vehicles Manuals and Acts (मोटर वाहन नियमावली एवं अधिनियम):-

Bihar Motor Vehicles Rules, 1992, Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and Central Vehicle Rules, 1989. / बिहार मोटर वाहन नियमावली, 1992, मोटर वाहन अधिनियम, 1988 एवं केंद्रीय वाहन नियमावली, 1989.

Interview :

The Distribution of Marks in the interview will be done as per Section 3 of Bihar Transport (Technical) Cadre (Amendment) Rules – 2008.

• Entrance or equivalent qualification – 10% marks of percentage of marks
• Technical Education – Percentage score of total score in diploma
• Experience – After minimum qualifying period, additional 3 marks on each completed year, maximum of 9 Marks.
• Specialization in Automobile Engineering or Post Diploma – 06 Marks.
• Interview – 20 Marks.
